The Climate Prediction Center (CPC) is engaged in the development and maintenance of global precipitation datasets at various timescales. Products that are routinely available are:

• CMORPH - CPC MORPHing Global Precipitation Analysis
• GPCP Geostationary Satellite Precipitation Data Center
• GOES Precipitation Index
• CPC Merged Analysis of Precipitation (CMAP)
• CAMS_OPI
• Outgoing Longwave Radiation (OLR)
• Globally merged IR data (full resolution & 1/2 x 1/2 degree)
• Research

Much of this work is done in collaboration with the Global Precipitation Climatology Project (GPCP) and the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM).
