The forecast calls for an increased chance for below average rainfall over local areas in central Malawi, southern Mozambique, the northern areas of the Northern Cape province of South Africa, southern Namibia, and southern Angola. There is an increased chance for above average rainfall locally over northeastern and central Mozambique, Swaziland, the southern areas of the Northern Cape, southeastern Namibia, and north central Angola. Climatology is expected in most of the region.
