The forecast calls for a moderate tilt in the odds favoring above average rainfall over much of the western highlands of Ethiopia and portions of southern Sudan. There is a slight tilt in the odds favoring below average rainfall in west central Sudan, including the Darfur region. Climatology is expected elsewhere.
